Real Estate and Romance is the brand that Crystal created to highlight her career as a Real Estate Broker and Author. As a real estate broker, Crystal creates opportunities where non exist. Her goal is to educate, empower and help her clients build a real estate portfolio that will increase in value and ultimately net them the highest return on their investment.

As an author, her writings are purpose filled, humorous, and thoughtful. All of her characters have a piece of her. She writes from her heart and with purpose. Whether she is writing a romantic dramedy or romantic suspense she wants you to get lost in the story and vibe.

About Crystal

Author, CEO and Real Estate Broker are just a few of the crowns that Crystal Tollette wears. She is also an investor, mentor and self-empowerment advocate. Raised in Hot Springs, Arkansas, she has resided in the Dallas-Fort Worth area for over twenty-one years. Before moving to Texas and graduating from The University of Texas at Arlington with an advertising and creative writing degree, Crystal began her collegiate career at Tennessee State University, a historical black university in Nashville. It was there that Crystal came into her own. Empowered by her culture, by the time she made it to Texas, she was equipped with the tools she needed to grow in her self-image, emotional independence and overall confidence.

It was at The University of Texas at Arlington that Crystal discovered her love for real estate and began writing her first novel, Bonded by Hate Torn Apart by Love.

My experience with Bonded by Hate Torn Apart by Love was riveting and heartfelt. I have been in a similar situation a few times in my life. This story specifically reminded me of my most recent relationship with a guy who was my close friend. Personally, I found myself rooting for Skyler and Michael to have a “happy-ever after”. I would highly recommend this book to anyone who has been in love or who is looking for love that could be staring you in the face! This novel allows you to examine yourself and relate to the characters on a deeper level. Moral of the story, don’t deny your feelings!

This book was a pleasure to read. The colloquialisms in this book really connected me with the story and I related to it as a result. I saw bits and pieces of people I know in real life in some of these characters and that made it that much more interesting to read. I really liked Tony, Niko and Kim. I found myself genuinely concerned for how things were going to turn out for them. I liked how all the characters were successful and black.
