Let’s Talk
Frisco
Home to the Dallas Cowboys Training facility and headquarters at the Frisco Star, Frisco Texas is one of the fastest growing cities in Texas. Recognized as one of the top school districts in Texas, Frisco has a lot more to offer than a great education. From exploring bike trails, golf courses, live music to weekend brunches at The Common Table, Frisco is a vibe.
Plano
Can we talk about the restaurants? Legacy West is home to some of the finest restaurants and date night spots in the north. The way the lights bounce off the water features and site lines as you stroll down Windrose Avenue is pure bliss. Crossing over to the east to Granite Park Boardwalk you will find a ton of eateries and brunch spots that are perfect for family outings and brunch meetups. Outside of eating, Plano has a buzzing music and art scene and of course top-rated schools. Plano is an entire vibe.
Southlake
With its rural small city feel, Southlake is nestled centrally between other beautiful cities and is within minutes of DFW International Airport and Grapevine Mills. This is the city of acreage, gated communities, and pure family-oriented luxury vibes.
Far North Dallas
Often referred to as the Addison area, this part of Dallas is north of 635 and the Galleria Mall and is located within close proximity to the cities of Richardson, Carrollton, Plano, Addison and Farmers Branch. Far north Dallas has a mixture of homes that are eccentric and full of character. Neighborhoods of honorable mention are: The various phases of Bent Tree, Chalfont Circle, Preston Trails, and Glen Abbey. With parks, shops, restaurants, and entertainment minutes away, Far North Dallas is an entire vibe.
Irving
Whether you are riding through the suburban area of Valley Ranch, down Riverside into the urban center of Las Colinas or through other parts of the city, Irving is a vibe. With the introduction of the Toyota Music Factory, residents have access to over 18 restaurants and bars.
The Pavilion at Toyota Music Factory hosts musical artist from various genres. Adjacent to the Pavilion is the Texas Lottery Plaza. This outdoor venue hosts DJ’s, artist, fashion shows, farmers markets, food festivals and various events throughout the year. In addition to the entertainment aspect, Irving has ample trails, lakes, and the beautiful Mandalay Canals. To sum it up Irving is exciting, tranquil, and of course, a vibe.
Oaklawn
Surrounded by the areas of Turtle Creek, Uptown and State Thomas, the “Oaklawn” area of Dallas is home to low-, mid- and high-rise condos as well as flats, lofts and brownstones. Outside of the bars and restaurants, the Oaklawn area is within proximity to the Katy Trail, Klyde Warren Park, The American Airlines Center, Victory Park, The AT&T Performing Arts Theater, and the House of Blues.
Klyde Warren Park is located above Woodall Rodgers Freeway and is home to various Food Trucks, an open stage which hosts various concerts throughout the year and has an open green area and jungle gym for everyone to enjoy. The House of Blues provides an intimate setting for concerts, fashion shows and more. The AT&T performing Arts Theater, also home to the Wyly and Winspear Opera House will keep you entertained throughout the year. As you can tell, the Oaklawn area is a vibe within itself.
Preston Hollow
Preston Hollow is centrally located just north of North Park Mall, Bluffview, Park Cities and Dallas-Love Field Airport. Park Cities is a name that represents two small Dallas suburbs known as Highland Park and University Park. Preston Hollow is home to some of the wealthiest people and most expensive homes. Many of the residents send their children to some of the top private schools nearby.
In recent years the neighborhood has seen a surge in home values as developers and buyers have reimagined some of the classic homes through renovation and new construction development. There are many shops and restaurants surrounding the area. A neighborhood favorite is Drakes Hollywood, a swanky old Hollywood inspired steakhouse that is known for its steak, pizza, cocktails, and vibe.
East Dallas
East Dallas is home to some of the city’s most charming and historic homes. The architecture is timeless and the treelined streets give a sense of peace that you just cannot find in many of the newer home communities. From the Craftsman bungalows in the M Streets, to the Italian Renaissance cottages and Tudors alongside Lower Greenville, East Dallas has over one hundred and twenty-five years of extraordinary architecture. Residents love the community and many activities that they can do as a family such as riding bikes alongside White Rock Lake, visiting the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden, and watching independent and new releases at the Angelika Film Center.
Lower Greenville has gone through a burst of new energy with many walkable shops and restaurants opening along the strip. From the never disappointing experience of Greenville Pizza Co. to Son of a Butcher and to the authentic Mexican food at Taquero, the strip is perfect for families, friends, and date nights.
Minutes away you will find Deep Ellum. Deep Ellum is the epicenter entertainment district of downtown Dallas, which is less than ten minutes from East Dallas. The Nines, Punk Society, Brick-n-Bones, Stirr, Off Premise and Off the Record are some of the bars and restaurants that keep the district thriving. Select Start and Punch Bowl Social are fun activity-based destinations that are perfect for friends, family and date nights.
Popular music, art festivals and mimosa walks pop up throughout the year bringing friends, family, and the surrounding community closer together. As the rest of the locations mentioned, East Dallas is an entire vibe.
Northwest Dallas
Located within minutes from Preston Hollow, Oaklawn and the Dallas City center, Northwest Dallas is a small neighborhood that is a mixture of industrial and residential real estate. The neighborhoods are currently seeing a revitalization with high-end residential development of single family, townhomes, and condominiums. With land being scarce in other parts of the city, Northwest Dallas still has residential lot opportunities for new construction homes.
Much like the trend that is going on in various parts of the city of Dallas, older homes are being sold for lot value because of the acreage that the homes provide. If you are someone who wants the city living and opportunity to build your own home or you want to purchase a new construction home that gives you more room between you and your neighbors, Northwest Dallas may be the perfect vibe for you.
